I guess it takes a person who has seen anger to recognise anger in anoher person, is that so with you Vrsinc? I have been on the grace journey for one year now with my coming out of legalism and all that I have seen Ryan agrees with. The body of Christ sadly is not unified, they all have different beliefs and doctrines

Ryan,
Love the video. you sound like you came out of the same movements I did..Idk. I was really into mike bickle ministries, lou engel, rick joyner and the rising movements of prayer and fasting for revival. I got very burned out. I would fast and pray for my city locking myself up in my room for hours and hours trying to earn a revival with my many words and fasting. The spirit would get so grieved in my heart when i would do this. He saw i was burning myself out and loading myself down with heavy burdens. I was so confused about law and grace. Im very excited to see what your doing in reaching out to the charismatics. They are soooo burdened down with earning, performing, law, false doctrines, trying to break generational curses that have already been broken. Your ministry is very needed and I am glad to see you doing what you are doing. I agree with you about the "solemn assemblys," and prayer ministries and the burn out that they cause, not to mention the trail of disillusioned believers they leave in their wake. If you came from similar movements i wonder if you saw the "transformation videos," put out by Sentinel ministries whose leader is George Otis. Wonderful videos. I personally have been seeking God for light concerning prayer for these types of awakenings and revivals. I know the way i was doing it was all caddywampus and bassakwards. But Ryan my heart wont give up hope that these kinds of awakenings are possible when believers get together and pray in a grace educated and empowered way for community transformation. If youve seen the videos you know that they are deeply touching and inspire hope to the christian heart that lives in communities and cities filled with darkness that need a touch from God. Your thoughts bro?

Thanks
mark russell

"For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit **without limit.**" - John 3:34

"these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God" - 1 Cor. 2:10

Yes, we believe that what we are teaching is leaps and bounds ahead of what the vast majority of the church is teaching today.

No, that is not arrogance. That is called confidence.

Hmmm. I like a lot of what you say -- the boldness about healing, the assertion to model our ministries after Jesus himself rather than the traditions of man. But I detect a hard-edge and an anger here -- as if you are positioning your ministry and read of doctrine above others. Am I wrong? Is it not possible that God gives each of us who follow Christ a portion, but not all, of His truth, and it is only when we pray and work together in unity that the Body truly reflect the Lamb of God?

I don't care what history says --- I know what Scripture says on the issue. Finney had some wacky doctrine. And yes, God worked despite his bad doctrine --- and you're right, we must be humble and say we don't know everything...but on this point I know, there is nowhere that Jesus told the disciples to fast and pray and cry out to God before going into a city and demonstrating the Kingdom.

Ryan, i read your posts on FB, if that's the same you. I love the article about Moses that was just posted. It is so absolutely true, and something I find we Christians do struggle with. It was very encouraging and has stirred my spirit!

Thanks! Kristyna
